We are recruiting a Global Category Manager Natural Preservation - permanent contract

The Global Category Manager must have market global vision, setting up strategic plan and pushing for innova-tions to develop the business of natural preservation ingredients.
Key activities are:
Conduct necessary market analysis to design and implement the Global Category Development Strategy
o Define global competitive landscape: Identify existing players and evaluate their business performance, re-spective market shares, competitive advantages, product portfolio, pricing positioning and their marketing strategy.
o Identify the current and potential strategic customers as well as the market categories to be pursued
o Have full understanding regarding consumer’s behaviours and market trends
o Define the Global strategy to drive profitable growth and bring innovation to market
o Monitors markets dynamics with Regions for evolving product portfolio and customer needs
o Define and follow up closely all sales campaigns agreed with and implemented by the regions
o Define and engage jointly with regional marketing and sales organizations the scope, media type and contents of the marketing communication, exhibitions and trade shows for each region
o Assume co-ownership and manage specific strategic projects and opportunities along with the sales teams
Product portfolio management
o Define and manage a correct and competitive product offer that fully addresses the market needs and trends, in coordination with regional marketing managers, application, industrial, supply, sourcing and R&D teams, as well as with sales organizations.
o Manage complexity ensuring proper balance between number of SKU, inventory level and service level
o Follow closely the profitability of each product and recommend corrective actions when needed
o Determine market opportunities within the innovation process, and provide necessary support to the new prod-uct launches
o Becomes global subject matter expert for natural preservation
Mastering transversal management with other functions
o Build and secure an effective communication process with all other functions.
o Collaborates with supply chain, procurement or S&OP teams to monitor key market conditions and determines inventory positons for your products.
o Optimise groupīs assets through rigorous SKU management
o Propose and implement specific actions to fulfil plantīs capacities
• A minimum 8 years of experience in the business of preservation;
• Master in Marketing or Engineering;
• Good communication skills (both oral and written) networking & team spirit;
• Customer focus and results oriented;
• Project management skills;
• Entrepreneurial, rigor, organization, listening skills, responsibility, autonomy, proactivity, ability to work on a collaborative way and in a fast paced, dynamic environment while being decisive and adaptable to change.
