Although you will be part of a global organization, you will work as the local Procurement representative which is responsible for the purchase of Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) for our Givaudan/Naturex site in Avignon. Furthermore you will support the global and regional IM&S procurement group. You will service assigned departments or product categories and be in the lead of the complete procurement process, like listing business requirements, sourcing vendors, contract negotiations and vendor management.
It's a fast-paced role, where you have to demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, sense of urgency and understand the value of providing proactive customer & supplier service. In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the local IM&S procurement activities:
-List the requirements together with business partners;
-Drive vendor selection and consolidations;
-Initiate search for new or alternative services, materials or products;
-Solicits and analyses quotes; Negotiate with local suppliers;
- Ensure adequate contract cover within their portfolio within the value of spend;
-Manage supplier performance where necessary to ensure uninterrupted supply;
-Investigates invoice discrepancies.
Develop and implement business procurement strategies:
-Drive the PPP process by developing intimate knowledge of selected commodity markets through study, analysis, personal contacts with suppliers, brokers and any other sources of market information;
-Analyse trends and market movements for use in making procurement decisions;
-Furnishes market conditions, pricing, shortages or technical information to Global Procurement Manag-ers and makes recommendations.
Support and Implement global, regional and local agreements:
-Coordinate, oversee and review the Procurement system; integrate the IM&S processes so as to con-form to the guidelines developed within the system;
-Advises and assists other functions in the evaluation and pricing of alternate materials; advises on trade practices, pricing, market conditions, delivery terms, and utilization of technical
-Prepare initiative plans and forecasts in line with business budget cycle and develop cost reduction pro-jects.
-Provide price forecast and market trends for key commodities and services.
-Be an active part in the site Operations Team and support the cost reduction programs.
Your professional profile includes:
• Relevant degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Buyer or similar role in Pro-curement
• Fluent in English and French, any other language a plus
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Passion for success with a high energy level
• Strong project management skills and good understanding of procurement process within manu-facturing/construction/engineering industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with people across different levels and areas
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong system skills (Microsoft Office, Google)

We are recruiting a Quality Lab Coordinator for a permanent contract to be filled as soon as possible.
About the position:
• Develop and Align:
-Drive Implementation of Global Quality Lab Standards and Practices Review and Audit Quality Laboratory Practices and Performance.
-Perform Gap -assessments & assess compliance to Analytical and QC Lab Standards.
-Support implementation of Givaudan Quality Laboratory Programs.
-Contributing Participate in Givaudan Quality Laboratory Coordinator Network.
-Propose and develop Policies and Guidelines. Drive implementation of Policies and Guidelines.
• Partner and Deliver:
with sites to provide training & solutions to close gaps in compliance.
-Provide technical direction in partnership with plants for 17025 lab certifications and to close gaps.
-Lead Process Changes in Quality Labs as well as assessing compliance to standards.
• Lead and Influence:
-Provide for Superior Customer Experience. Provide Technical support for Customers Inquiries or Continuous Improvement.
-Assessments of Customer trends and deliver technical support in terms of education and business solutions.
-Propose improvements to Global QLP Standards. Manage Harmonization of Naturex Quality Lab Standards.

Your professional profile includes:
• Bachelor of Science Degree, chemistry preferred, with 10-15 years of related experience, preferably in the flavors industry.
• Strong Sensory & Analytical Skills, with understanding of good Quality Lab processes with good experience in Flavor, food, chemical or pharmaceutical
• SAP Experience
• Strong Communication skills both verbal and written forms
• Project management skills
